1610 Weiher
The structure with its clinker bricks façade, well positioned as first multi-family house with a self-confident appearance in the former single-family house area, hinting at the future of the residential neighbourhood. The building envelope of warm clinker is given an additional texture and depth effect through forward and backward displacement of individual rows of stones. Two projecting balconies and the attic storey structure the simple basic volume. The framed windows in different sizes are deliberately distributed playfully in the façade.
The four apartments on the first two floors are characterized by a high degree of flexibility in terms of playability – only the central load-bearing core with sanitary rooms and the façade are statically effective and given. The floor plan leaves room for various uses – from open loft to spacious couple’s apartment to family apartment, everything is possible.
