The aim of the study was to formulate an architectural concept for a multi-family house right next to the lake of Zurich. The "building-lake" relationship became the design principle for the building. On each floor boxes are being placed onto a large concrete tableau containing the sleeping rooms and serving spaces. Large sliding doors allow for a flexible use of these boxes. The space between the boxes forms a transition to the vast terraces in the south on each tableau and provides views to the adjacent surrounding and the lake. A curtain that runs all along the exterior allows for privacy and protects from sun and wind.
