0607 Cemetery Fehraltorf
A leaking roof and an infrastructure out-of-date were the cause for this unusual project. The beautiful existing walls of broken stones became the dominant part of the design. The construction of the new roof sits on top of a metal structure, partly glazed, partly filled and seems to float on top of the building. Along with the renewal of all pathways and squares a new path made of cobblestone leads up to the covered anteroom aswell as to the viewing area with the catafalque as a glass construction.
