The plot is located on the border of a rural ensemble and an area of single family houses. In this zone, the building code stipulates that double pitch roofs have to be built and this obligation became the driving theme of the project. The building uses a roof which inclined eaves are adding an expressive and dynamic appearance to the simple shaped volume.
The groundfloor stands out through its spacious arrangement and provides view to the surrounding. A gallery close to the dining area opens up the entire interior of the house. The sleeping rooms and bathrooms are arranged on the upper floor. The expressive shape of the roof allows for an interesting experience of the upper spaces.
