An invited competition led to this project of a small single family house. The plot lies right next to the lake Walensee, in the midst of an overwhelming panorama of lake and mountains. The two storey building is oriented towards the lake and encloses, along with the garage wing and a protective wall, an inner coutryard with a water basin.
The spacious glazing on the ground floor allows for a scenic view onto the lake. The upper floor with its regular facade contains the sleeping rooms and bathrooms. All sleeping rooms are oriented to the lake.
