Based on the given space allocation plan, the existing topography and the clients' requirements a concept evolved, which foregrounds a building-lake relationship which includes the use of the garden and the zenith angle of the sun. Hence floorplans and volumetric dispositions evolved that allow lake-view and a maximum sun exposure for all rooms. The building is nestled to the hill while one overhanging wing is turned towards the valley providing diagonal views within the building, creating a shaded area within the garden. Spacious glazed living areas alternate with introverted sleeping areas.
